Discrimination

A Federal Law that states, no person in the United States shall, on the ground of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied benefits or, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance. It is illegal for any division or contractor affiliated with Buffalo Valley Inc. to withhold or refuse benefits, services, or funding based on race, color, or national origin.  Certain programs may also require evidence of citizenship for eligibility.      

To File A Complaint…

You must include the following information:

  • Your name, address, and telephone number
  • Name and address of the institution you believe discriminated against you,
  • How, why, and when you felt discriminated against (include names, dates, and as much Information as possible)
  • Your TitleVI complaint must be in written form, signed, filed within 180 days from the date of the alleged discrimination.  This complaint may be filed by an individual, a class, or by a third party (friend, attorney, relative, etc.)  If the complaint is submitted by a third party, their relationship to the applicant must be included.
